This group is open to anyone (beginning to advanced dancers) looking to meet new people and Salsa dance in a fun and friendly environment!
Salsa is a very social dance, enjoyed around the world. It provices the perfect opportunity to connect with all kinds of different people. Portland is lucky to have a very large, and ever growing, Salsa community. There are Salsa performers who perform and compete all over the US. There are great Salsa DJ’s and local Salsa Bands. There are numerous local Salsa instructors. There are also, amazing Salsa clubs in Portland. And to top it all off, several times a year the city plays host to special Salsa weekends that are well attended by people from all over the US.

Home of DJ Armando, Portland, Oregon's premiere Salsa DJ. DJ Armando has DJ'd throughout the Northwest and in Acapulco, Mexico and Beijing, China. In 2008, he will be DJ'ing at the world's largest Salsa Congress, the West Coast Salsa Congress in Los Angeles, CA in May & back in Beijing, China in October. Congrats Armando!
