What: Learn to Dance Salsa Workshop When: Saturday, May 1, 2010 5:00 PM - 7:00PM Where: Lenora's Ballroom 615 SE Alder St Entrance on SE 6th. Upstairs on the 3rd Floor Portland, OR 97214 May is here and we want to share another great opportunity to learn to dance Salsa on Saturday May 1, 2009 from 5pm-7pm @ Lenora's Ballroom Studio. These 2 hour workshops have been structured to provide you with the tools necessary to make you feel comfortable on the dance floor. NO PARTNER NEEDED. Now is the time to learn to SALSA so that you can dance the night away at one of our upcoming events or when you venture out on your own. Learn to dance with one of the most recognized instructors in the Northwest, George Caceres of Sabor Latino. Saturday, May 1st - 2hr Salsa Workshop In this 2 hour class, you will learn all the fundamentals of Salsa, including rhythm & timing, leading and following technique while learning the 3 basic steps, basic turns and 3-4 beginner partnering combinations. At the end of the class you will have learned enough material to make you feel like going dancing that same night. Oh wait, there's a meetup @ Aztec Willie's this same night, so this will be perfect. PRICE: $15 pre-registered / $20 @ the door. (CASH or CHECK ONLY) You can Register by sending an email to dance@saborlatinodance.org. Bring comfortable clothing and shoes that won't stick on the floor. (Rubber sole shoes are not the best for dancing) and a bottle of water.
